Waitangi Tribunal Seminar

Part One – Practice & Procedure

Hamilton, 8.30am-5.30pm, Friday 28 October 2022

Te Hunga Rōia Māori o Aotearoa is honoured to partner with the Waitangi Tribunal to jointly host two seminars for practicing Members and Non-Members to gain practical litigation skills.

Part One will be hosted at Novotel Tainui in Kirikiriroa and focuses on practice and procedure in the Waitangi Tribunal.  Participants can expect a full day workshop run by Judges and senior practitioners to understand best practice in the Waitangi Tribunal, with registrations opening at 8.30am.  The sessions will cover all stages of an inquiry process for a total of 6 CPD hours.

McCaw Lewis Lawyers welcome all attendees to a post-seminar networking function at Level 6, 586 Victoria Street, Hamilton.

Part Two of the seminars will focus on Tikanga and Te Reo and will be held in March 2023.  Details will be confirmed in due course.

CONFERENCE RATES & HOW TO REGISTER

The members’ rate is $200 for the one-day seminar held in person, with a non-member rate of $600.
