Tēnā koutou kotoa,
Ma ngā huruhuru ka rere te manu – With all its feathers a bird can soar.
It is with great excitement that Te Hunga Roia Māori o Aotearoa relaunches our Ngā Wāhine Rōia Māori mentoring programme to support the growth and career development of wāhine rōia māori.
Our programme was first launched in 2018. It aims to prepare and tautoko lawyers and senior law students for success in the workforce, establish networks for mentees with senior practitioners and strengthen networks between Hunga Rōia members.
Unfortunately due to Covid-19 our programme was not able to take place in 2020. However, because of the impact of Covid-19 now is the time to ensure we have the support in place for our hunga as we navigate these times.
We are now calling for mentors and mentees to register for our programme. We aim to officially launch this programme with events around Aotearoa in April 2021.
Please click here to register as a mentor and here for a mentee. Applications close at 5pm Monday 22 March 2021. We will notify you of your mentoring pair after Monday 29 March 2021.
For further information see our information booklet.
